Privacy Policy

This site collects the minimum information needed to run a small author website: contact form submissions (name, email, subject, message, and IP address for abuse prevention), newsletter sign-ups (email address and IP address), and standard web server logs.

Newsletter email addresses are used only to send news about C.L. Master's books and are kept until you ask to be removed — just get in touch via the contact page.

Contact form submissions are stored to ensure your message isn't lost even if email delivery fails, and are retained for up to 12 months. Your IP address is retained only to detect and block automated abuse of the contact form.

To understand how the site is used, we record which pages are viewed, the website that referred you (its name only), your device type, and clicks on links to retailers such as Amazon. This uses no cookies and stores no IP address: visits are counted with an anonymous code that changes every day, so they can't be linked back to you or across days. No third-party analytics service is involved.

We do not sell or share your information with third parties, other than the transactional email provider used to deliver contact form notifications.

Questions about this policy can be sent via the contact page.
